博士,男,教育部长江讲座特聘教授。1988年毕业于纽约大学,获得生物科学专业学士学位;1993年毕业于贝勒医学院,获得细胞与分子生物学博士学位,现在加州大学洛杉矶分校大卫格芬医学院担任教授,2009年出任上海交通大学细胞分化与凋亡教育部重点实验室转化医学研究中心主任。主要从事心血管系统应激反应的细胞内信号网络的研究,目前,承担美国NIH课题(RO1)5项,在Nature Medicine, PNAS, JCI, Circulation Research, Circulation, JBC等发表77篇论文,被引用4100余次。担任PNAS, Circulation 等的编委或审稿。于2005年被美国心脏学会授予“杰出研究者”。多次作为国际学术会议分会主席、特邀报告、大会报告。
